Blade Runner is the final cut & Blade Runner 2049 features downtown Los Angeles in the future, a dystopian one. A Los Angeles that is densely populated, bustling, has high inequality & is filled with light pollution. Comparatively, Hong Kong seems to embody that narrative & some would even say that the city is a glimpse into what the world could be like in the coming future as overpopulation & growing inequality grapples it. Therefore, in this photography project, it tries to capture that aspect of Hong Kong.
